Pelvic Floor Dysfunction/Pain

What is pelvic floor dysfunction?

Typical pelvic floor function is comprised of strong, flexible and well-coordinated muscles which allow for proper support of pelvic organs and normal bladder, bowel and sexual function without experiencing pain or leakage.

When the pelvic floor is dysfunctional, this happens because the muscles are weak, tight or uncoordinated.
